Netgear 4G LTE Modem – Unboxing & First Impressions

The Netgear 4G LTE Modem is a cellular modem for use in an existing network. Unlike mobile hotspots (which are self contained routers), this device converts cellular data as a WAN input into any router that can accept an ethernet input.

Sold as an AT&T device, but also compatible with T-Mobile (and some of Verizon’s network).

Priced at 9.99.

This video is our unboxing and first impressions, sharing a bit more about how this differs from a hotspot device like the Unite Explore (AT&T’s current flagship hotspot device).

This is my problem me and my family is moving to a place without any cable internet. But have great cellular service. And the tree line is to high to get a Signal for For satellite. Will this help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a question. You mentioned in video this would be considered hotspot data. So I have the "beyond unlimited" will this recognized the router just for cellphone data that uses up to 22gb data the goes through data management and slows down speeds when congested or will it recognize as hotspot for 15gb and that's all the data for the month? Have you all tested this on that type of plan or heard of any that has and what the outcome would be? Please reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

The Rvmobileinternet website product review says the the AT&T Unite Explore AC815S has (2x 20MHz channels) Carrier aggregation. But in this video you say it has 3 channel carrier aggregation. Can you let me know which is correct and fix the error?

Well, bummer. Great for GSM carriers. Hopefully they'll work on CDMA next. I love Netgear.
